Experience
I like to help people learn, and help people engage with what they are learning. So much so that I co-host an educational podcast about the Liberal Arts! I want to help people read complex texts and understand them through dialog, and to help people improve their writing so that they can get whats in their heads out on paper! I have experience with one-on-one tutoring for undergraduate (junior level) Intro to Philosophy class, and have given undergraduate lectures on philosophy, writing, literature, and history. I also have experience working as a Teacher's Assistant, including grading undergraduate essays.

Hobbies
I love storytelling. I love fantasy books and sci-fi films, and I especially love videogames and tabletop RPGs. I love the unique way in which each of these mediums can tell stories, and I love the deep impact which these fictions can have on people's lives. I love the Lord of the Rings, Terry Pratchett's work, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Dungeons and Dragons, etc. I also really love podcasts, like The Adventure Zone and Within the Wires. My interest in philosophy, history, and art started, if you can believe it, as a love for C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia! And it has only grown since then. My interest in teaching and tutoring others mainly started when I became the friend who all my other friends at Uni would come to for help if they had an assigned reading they simply did not understand, or a writing assignment they needed a second opinion on. I was able to help with both, and I'd love to continue to do so!
