Experience
Currently, I am transitioning from my career as an attorney to one in teaching. I have a masters in humanities that I earned from the University of Dallas. I'm working towards my teaching certification for high school social studies courses. While at UD, I studied a variety of liberal arts courses, solidifying my grasp of a variety of academic disciplines. As a tutor, I provide guidance in numerous subjects, such as legal research, Western civilization, introductory psychology, European history, and writing. I encourage my students to develop strong written and verbal communication skills while also building upon their ability to think critically. I am capable of teaching to an individual student's needs, as well as to small-to-large groups of students. I can assist in all ages and skill levels, whether the student needs to learn test-taking strategies for their upcoming AP exam or they are struggling with a subject in particular. When I'm not tutoring, I have diverse interests and hobbies. I often spend time reading philosophical, psychological, and classical literature. I listen to university courses on my phone, as well as study meteorology. I enjoy watching the Red Sox and Patriots play. On weekends, I enjoy hiking, jogging, and kayaking.
